The Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun. Afolayan, (JP) was born in the early 70s to the family of Pastor/Prophet and Deaconess Samuel Ojo Afolayan of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun, Efon Alaaye, in Efon Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria.
Young Isaac had his Primary Education at St. Stephens Anglican Primary School, Inalende, Ibadan, Oyo State, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and he was the School Senior boy. He later went to Baptist Grammar School, Idi-Isin, Ibadan, Oyo State, where he obtained his West African Examination Council Certificate. He was also the Punctuality Prefect of the School. Although a promised child dedicated for the work of the Lord from birth, he met with the Lord Jesus Christ in his second year in the Secondary School and later became the President of the Bible Student Society. Through his Evangelistic activities in the School, many students were converted to the Lord Jesus Christ and today most of them are Preacher/Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the globe.
The Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun. Afolayan, (JP) worked as an Accounts Clerk both at University of Ibadan and Eddy Alalade & Co, an Accounting firm before entering fully into the Ministry.
TRAINING, LICENSING AND ORDINATION
The Rt. Rev.(Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun. Afolayan (JP) was trained both within and outside the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and has obtained the following:

The Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun Afolayan, (JP) was ordained into the Ministry in 1994 at the Living Water Bible Church (Holy Ghost Channel) Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State. Where he served as the Resident Pastor. In 1997, The Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun Afolayan was led by the Holy Spirit into The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria through Lagos Presbyterian Church, Yaba Parish of Lagos East Presbytery. In 1998 he was ordained as one of the pioneer Ruling Elder of The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ijebu-Ode/Shagamu Parish under Yaba Parish.
In 1999, he was recommended by PCN, Yaba Kirk Session through The Lagos East Presbytery for the Holy Ministry to be Presbyterianised. That same year, he was admitted into Essien Ukpabio Presbyterian Theological College, Itu, Akwa-Ibom State. The course he completed successfully in the year 2000 with an Award of the Best Student in Evangelism and Missions.
The Rt. Revd.( Dr.) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun Afolayan,(JP) was Ordained fully into the Ministry of the Word and Sacrament of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria in the year 2001 by the Lagos East Presbytery of the Synod of the West. Worthy of note, The Rt. Revd. (Dr) Amb. Isaac Olanipekun Afolayan, (JP) is the First Yoruba Indigenous Minister to be ordained by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and through him today the PCN can boast of more than ten Yoruba Ministers in the Church and many more are still willing to be part of what God is doing in the PCN.
