The President of The Nelas Academy of Arts, Media and Television, Frank Ikegwuonu, is pleased to announce the inclusion of Olga Balakleets, internationally recognised cultural entrepreneur, concert pianist, international event producer and founder of major cultural and women’s leadership initiatives, among the “Top 50 Most Inspirational & Humanitarian People 2025–2026.”
The recognition forms part of The Nelas Academy’s continuing international initiative to document and celebrate individuals whose professional achievements, humanitarian values, cultural contributions and commitment to positive social impact have inspired people across borders.

Olga Balakleets’ career represents an exceptional intersection of music, ballet, cultural diplomacy, international cultural exchange, women’s empowerment, philanthropy and creative-industry development.
Balakleets developed a distinguished career as a concert pianist before expanding her work into international cultural production and institution-building. She is particularly recognised as the founder of the Ballet Icons Gala, established in 2006 and subsequently developed into an international platform bringing leading ballet dancers and artistic talent from around the world to audiences in London.
The gala has become one of the prominent international ballet events associated with London, while also creating opportunities for artistic collaboration between dancers, choreographers, musicians and cultural institutions.

In 2016, Balakleets founded Creative Women, an international platform connecting women entrepreneurs, business leaders and innovators across different countries and professional sectors.
